We are utterly delighted and very excited to organise a special evening of immersive sound & visual happenings featuring live music. This marks the first anniversary of Kosar Contemporary and we are taking this opportunity to announce the launch of Kosar Sounds, a new platform for live music, sound/art Installations and artists showcase.
The very first 'Volume' of Kosar Sounds will showcase an exciting line-up featuring Kayla Painter and Run Logan Run; two of the best Bristol based artists on the cusp of the experimental music and contemporary art. The evening will be held in collaboration with Loco Klub; Bristol's atmospheric underground tunnels beneath the Passenger Shed, Temple Meads.

Depending on where you land in Kayla Painter’s universe, the outlook could be very different. She sculpts subversive rhythm tracks that play on club tropes while crackling with an energy sourced from somewhere far away.
A head on collision of pounding tribal drums and guttural saxophone. Architects of intense contrast the duo’s diverse and precise instrumentation regularly flirts with fragility and raw power. Formed through a shared passion for improvisation, spiritual jazz and heavier experimental music, they are Andrew Neil Hayes (saxophones / electronics) and Matt Brown (drum kit / percussion).
In 2019 they received the Montreux Jazz Talent Award for their performance at the festival.
ORRYX
Mesmerising solo project from Christelle Atenstaede. Her music is both expressive and introspective, a hypnotic ritual of layered synth effects, beats and soaring vocals.
